Big Business - game discussion

Ok I put a building in storage and was able to bring out a different one. Hopefully this does not change....they will need to fix the population problem fast before they lose all the old players....and I know a lot of us buys credits so they will be losing money along with us.

Hopefully it gets fixed because I'm really starting to love this gave and the new Fourth of July challenge is great..but the population issue is going to cause major problem for my game plan.

Well....my next population to build a new factory is 1,111,000. If they do not fix this then I guess I will quit the game...I am at 196,000. No way I can build all that population up...so stupid...can't they get anything right?

This is indeed a big problem. I have 38 storage units, bought with credits and now find my next factory will cost 1,652,000 so any new and exciting factories are impossible and the use of storage becomes redundant. This has to be an oversight / bug from GI and for me if it is not fixed is a game ender... As someone already said. I have played this game for 9 months, nearly every day, spent hard earned cash so I really do hope GI see the error of their ways. Will raise a ticket and see what happens. Best of luck to you all....

I was just able to swap out a building in my storage with no problems.

I wonder if there are issues with swapping more than one building? Also what about time/money for upgrading buildings has that changed?

I have not done the latest BG upgrade yet but from what I read it is really bad :(

Okay, someone who risked swapping buildings, please test this:

1. Put a building in storage and try to build a factory. Are you able to? What amount of population do you need?
2. How about buying a premium shop? Can you buy and place it in storage?

I would but I'm working on the 7 million achievement and have 5.6 right now so I'm not spending a penny until I get to 7 mil. Sorry!

My calculations may be wrong but even if everyone dropped 2 confetti it would take 10 hours to accumulate 400 which obviously is longer than the 8 hours we have

If you place a building in storage you're able to build another building, however it's at the increased population amount ....

Can you use the factories in storage without having the new population to buy a factory? Say I have 792.000 for a new factory and I have 175.000, can the factories be used that are in storage?

I answered my own question, you cannot use your stored factories unless you have the required population. This update is not right. GI will have to correct it. I will give them 4 days and if not fixed, the game will be deleted from my iPad.

During Christmas Event they were occasionally dropping energy batteries so you were able to make it to 400 without too much effort. Now you are expected (wink wink) to "replenish" the energy bar by using credits if you want a large gift, i.e., multiple flags and better items. Without large gifts it will be very hard if not impossible to complete the event.

The purpose of my questions is to demonstrate how GI shoots itself in the foot. Who would now buy all those little shops if you cannot build them due to the new pop requirement? Would you destroy 15 industrial buildings in your storage in order to bring your pop down to the level required to build a tea shop? They are even bigger morons than I thought. Blinded by greed.

My population is 330-331K. In order to build that tea shop I need almost 1.5 mil. There is no chance in hell I would ever buy a tea shop or any other shop = lost sales = epic fail.

So very true Summer. They have killed the game. Why would i spend credits on a high-end 4,600 population building when I am 1.4 million away from the next factory...Fix only way forward. No response on my ticket yet will let the forum know if I hear anything of note.

I can put a factory in storage and then take one out of storage without a problem. The new population requirements might affect you if you want to build a new factory, but it doesn't affect those you've already build but have in storage. As long as you put one in and take one out, it doesn't matter.

I think the update caused the game to count all factories, including those in storage, towards the population requirement. Thankfully, I didn't have any factories in storage and hadn't even purchased any additional slots other than the two that could be bought for coins, but I feel bad for those who did. Honestly, I like the change because I might actually have a chance at placing in contests now, especially if a bunch of people quit because of it.

The 4th of July event is stupid. It is impossible to get a large gift without spending money. Pass.
