Big Business - game discussion

To all senior players: please don't go! I just found the forum and you guys have been so much help. I really floundered around and made many mistakes before starting to read your posts. Thank you all for your advice and spoilers!

Question of the day: I am upgrading my terminal to level 10 so I can get avocados for ET. What would be an efficient way of buying busses? At the moment I have 2 taxis and 3 micro busses.

Quarry update: I still don't have a quarry that works correctly (it keeps shutting down sporadically for no reason at all). GI has stated that they found the problem and it would come out in the next update. In the meantime they gave me the granite I needed for the ET level I was on. Approaching the marble level and I hope they will do the same if the quarry is not fixed by then. Keeping fingers crossed!

I think I finally figured out something. We all think GI developers are simply stupid. Well, they are, generally speaking, but we have underestimated their cynicism.

Do you remember that you can now buy a premium building and place it in your inventory instead of starting building it right away? And then bypass the construction phase and just place it on your map? Guys, this is not a nice touch or a glitch, this is all planned in advance. This feature will probably allow us to buy all their little crappy shops regardless of the pop requirement. You buy a shop, place it in your inventory, place one farm in your inventory then place the shop on the map. The newly purchased shop placed in your inventory is treated by the game as a part of your existing collection of other buildings which you can swap freely. Clever, eh?
They know we are mad but they think we will get over it after a while, bite the bullet and adjust to the New World Order which requires to buy even more stuff than before. You are unable to buy ranches but able to buy tea shops so there you go, attaboy.

I was thinking the same thing, but i have a feeling if you try that, you might still get the message about not having enough population to purchase...
I guess we will find out soon...

I contacted Apple again with a more detailed complaint and mentioned bait & switch, false advert etc. No refund. The rep said, don't make in-app purchases and complain to CS, have a nice day. Duh.
I think by now iTunes is swamped with complaints from BB players demanding refund. They probably figured out if they issued a refund to Mockba Apple would go bankrupt.

I put a couple questions into GI today. The first question is would they post the new happiness levels for additional factories. The second question was can we place a premium factory directly into storage regardless of happiness levels. It will be interesting to see if they respond. My original ticket about this issue is still open. I also told them that many are discouraged and ready to quit for good. I don't think they would care about it.

I just had a horrible thought..... With all the changes to happiness vs factories, still sux if you ask me, the next special event that is production based will probably use the factories in storage as well to do the calculations for requirements

My population went up 3000, and my needed population dropped from 1.6 million to 1.2 million....
So, I just need to add 1 million to my population for the next building....
I don't even think that's possible...

Agreed. My pop increased by 8,000... And the next factory requirement increased by 400,000.... It's a complete mess!

What GI should do next is to cut profits from factories so that making money is more challenging too...

Should? It's already done. Two words: cottage cheese.

I am able to place 3 more factories from my storage but cannot build anything else because my pop requirement is still too high, 1.122 mil
I am not even playing much, most factories are idle.

Btw, I am not participating in contests. What's the point. I let the youngsters have a bit o'fun. Less competition for them.

You need 70 flags to upgrade Lincoln memorial.

Is it even worth placing the Lincoln memorial? I'm out of space, and would need to destroy something to place it.

How do you get your reputation to go down to zero. Somehow mine has gone down to 3 and I want it at 0. I am totally disgusted with GI and there tactics. After spending well over $500.00(honestly probably closer to 8 or 9 hundred between mine and my wife's game)(shh don't tell her she'll kill me lol) these guys have gone to far. How in the world do you alienate your faithful drones. So I have to find another addictive game to spend tons of money on that actually cares about there customers both both paying and non paying. I finally got back from camping so I am about to check out megapolis like others have mentioned. See if these guys are worthy of getting me addicted and taking my money. So any help figuring out how to get my reputation to 0 without me having to completely stop playing will be greatly appreciated.

hardly playing and definitely not paying.city:mikeyville lvl.64 Id:makoadef. Anchorage, Alaska USA

Use your taxis at the terminal, but first click on 2 walkers requests or houses that just give you one or two population to get it to 5

Struth! Why are GI doing this. I only just realised the update has affected the number of Cottage Cheese you produce and reduced this to only 1 now. I need to change my tactic on production as well...what is now the most profitable item to produce? I'll go check out the Wiki.

Name: Rikmondo City name: Rikville Level. 50. Needs: Drills, please.

Tortilla, apple pie and chairs my new production tactic. Cottage cheese now 34th most productive (based on profit per hour and no taxi goods).

Name: Rikmondo (no more spending) City name: Rikville Level. 55. Needs: Drills, please.
