Has anyone actually been able to complete the Hydro Power Plant Challenge within the 10 day time limit? My original plan was to make everything ahead of time to have the best chance at success, but I've since heard that the 40 aluminum cannot be made ahead of time, so that's almost 7 days right there for me, if I don't sleep! Should I just start it and work at my leisure or try to get everything possible ready ahead of time? Opinions...

I used the corporate party bonus ( halve the production time for 2 hours). LOL That was really exhausting. I constantly had to sell things, because there was no more space in my warehouses. :)

I had everything made ahead of time and was still nowhere near the 10 day cut off. Not sure what the drop rates are like now, but they were practically non existent when I did it

Unfortunately that's what I was thinking might happen. I guess I'll just start it now and take my time with it.

Pffff, I've given up! I was so stupid. I produced 30 aluminum in advance. LOL
I build quite a few weeks now and I still need 2 silver medals.
But now I´m relaxed. :-)

I don't think there is any way this can be done in the 10 days as you are at the mercy of drops. I started mine when they first came out and took a couple of months to finish. I just accept the fact that you either have to spend real cash to finish within the 10 days or just do at my leisure. I finished the port in the 10 days but the bridge not. Even having things made ahead of time I still couldn't get it done in the 10 days as I have stopped spending real cash on this game since the happiness level is screwed up. When they fix that, if I am still playing then I may consider spending money but probably not. So now I am just working the port and some of the contests and upgrading my 5 whs and admin buildings. Even the new research center is not exciting since I get about 1 drop a day for it.

Can anyone tell me what requirements I need fill in order to gift turbines? I need turbines, but I hate groveling without being able to pay some back with same.

No requirements. It's random like the chisels, hammers and drills.
