Not sure about Dragon faerie but GI high a new low for events. No way could you even get close to building the castle. I really gave up the first day and just did what I could. I guess we can expect all the rest of the events to follow this example. To bad as the events was one of the good things about the game...added interest when there is none.
 
No and yes! Having some of the Halloween buildings are cute but I was very disappointed in the fact that in order to get the castle it would have cost way to much real money that I am not willing to spend.

I thought it was really poor, first time they have not offered suitcases to complete the event. Not surprising as they probably would not have got any takers. A comparable property would cost about 60 cc whereas certainly for me the castle would have cost over 1000 cc and I played quite a lot. The number of times nothing dropped was just very disappointing and it did not make any difference if I had upgraded. The medium gifts were also very disappointing, a party invite is not what I call particularly useful.

Still like the game but GI certainly have scored an own goal with this competition.

I totally agree. Very disappointed in the challenge. Last year the prizes WERE the buildings that were now required to purchase to do the challenge. I did upgrade as well and it was no different. Yes I did get three witches hats from one building BUT, none from the other two so what's the difference in drops between one per building and three from one. A big fat zero. What the heck!!!!

Agree with everyone's comments. I would also add that the inability to complete the historic Halloween achievements was yet another disappointment.

Is everyone else having promblems getting the steel details from the donut shop? At this rate no way will I finish in time for the prize.

Yes. The whole point is to be able to complete since the event is only once a year.

I think I will take a short break from doing the port. I will still play and check on other ports but this Halloween event has me very disappointed in GI. Still not spending any real cash and will not in the future. I need to take a break from the game. Will see what thanksgiving will be but I do not have any. Hope that it will be any different than this last one. Not much point in getting buildings that doesn't give much in return. :(

maybe we should hold out for the offer that gives you 150 city credits for a dollar. I spent 10 dollars over a year ago and will not spend any in the future except for the $1 offer. This is a game of patience but mine is running out. I will see what happens at thanksgiving.

I have never seen an offer for 150 credits for $1.00.
