Big Business - game discussion

Just received an email from GI requesting my support ID for the game. I sent it to them and received an email to restart my game and I'd receive the restore option. Yippee I'm back in the game. Sure could use some pie as gifts. Thanks everyone. User: SeaDe / City: Seavile

What level are you?

Hallelujah!!!! My game has finally been restored!! Everything back to normal now. Deleting and reinstalling the app did the trick and allowed me to finish the tutorial and get the restore window. I can finally play again :)

Ouch. Just lost out on a modules task by 3 units of energy. I have a big square battery sitting in my storage that says +500; it tells me that I need to activate it by going to the missions window and tapping the lighting button near my energy indicator. I haven't the foggiest idea what this actually means. I've tried tapping everything I can see, the little lightning flash, the plus sign on the energy indicator. All I ever get is Ms. Smugface popping up asking me if I want to spend 6 city credits replenishing energy; no, I'd like to use my battery ta very much!
Where am I going wrong? What are we supposed to do to use this thing?

I saw a lightening bolt near the accept button when collecting energy for hydroplant, but don't see it on the modules task. So I guess you can't use it for modules? I did not try it since I was well over the 10 days.

When you deleted your app and reinstalled, did the support id change? If so, how does GI know that you are who you are when they restore your account to prior progress level?

I had never looked at the support ID before they requested it. I went to settings - apps - Big Business and emailed them the ID. Within 5 minutes they had sent me the restores.
Prior to that I had completely deleted the app about 5 times, so I suspect the ID remains the same. Maybe you should write the ID down before you delete the app. When you re-install check and see if the support ID is the same. Good luck.

Only thing I didn't receive we're the bonus credits but I'm just glad to have my game back.

The module is removed from the factory and placed in storage where it is available to use again. I moved some modules around to make the challenge factories more efficient.

Great! Now this is what I wanted to hear.

Fat-fingered something? Changed your mind right after clicking? No worries, folks. Thanks to BB sloppy buggy design you might be able to fix it by clicking on your old turkey cafe. Your game will crash and after reloading your last actions prior to clicking would be canceled. Try it.

When I try to visit you it gives me an error message. Says the user needs to update their information. Are others able to visit your city?

Bummer. I sent a trouble ticket, I'm not sure what I need to do to resolve this. I was wondering why no one was helping me with my ship containers. UGH.

Just tried to visit you - I get this: "Error. Player have not yet posted new information about himself, probably he has connection issues, try to visit him later."

Obviously, you're not a "he" so they've decided you're not even allowed to play :-P

Not sure what the error message means, or what you're expected to do? Maybe go to your profile settings? Who knows? With Game Infight (no, that wasn't a typo) anything's possible!

Hey all looking for your advice. I am at level 38 and have all the factories up to the oil refinery. Before I move on should I build more of anything else (ie ranches, paper mills, farms) to keep up with production?

Hi Saryna - with the benefit of hindsight (I'm on Level 54, and need a population of 280000 before I can place another industrial building) I wish I had bought a few more ranches, in order to get the Cowboy achievement (I think 7 are required for that). You can always demolish however many you then consider to be surplus to requirements after the achievement, and keep your population requirement as low as possible. I have two ranches, which I manage okay with, but I think life would be easier if I maybe had 4. I have three confectionery plants, 3 mill houses, 5 farms and 2 paper mills and seem to manage pretty well. I could probably have done with an additional dairy farm and sawmill, but it's not too bad.

For the higher end industrial buildings; you'll definitely need the toy factory, food plant and mine if you want to complete several of the major building tasks (which require items such as shirts, aluminium, etc. to complete). Also, a lot of cargos at the port require products from the radio factory or the cosmetics factory, and you'll definitely need the chemical plant as well to make the raw materials for these factories.

The only industrial building in the shop that I could comfortably live without is the electronics plant; apart from products being occasionally needed for VIP containers at the port, I don't make that much use of it - it was nice to be able to complete the targets in the left hand bar, but that was about it! It now spends most of its time in storage, as I was able to purchase a printing office directly to storage without increasing population requirements, and can now swap the two around as I need to - the printing office, by the way, is definitely a lucrative little factory!

Hope that helps, sure others will have better and even contradictory advice :-)
