Big Business - game discussion

My corp is growing need 6 more reg players. It is listed under my city (see my signature below here) Corp is Lions Den. I have lots of upgraded businesses and farms. If you are in a full group please pass this on to a player who you think is also great I would appreciate that.

On another note...collecting gold beams for Eiffel Tower. Grrrrr. I think water board torture might be more civilized than collecting anything in this game!

so far no real money. It seems legit. The prizes are not that great from what I see on the prize window.

Maybe it's a start to get people to talk to each other and have some interaction instead of only solo challenges. You know how we humans love to be the best and say look at use we are tops!

Has anyone ever figured out how the different anchors are achieved?
You know, what gets you a gold as opposed to a silver or bronze?
Seems to be random selection

From the info page. Kinda gives info but my members seem to get 5 pts here and there at a time. So right now we have em with 10 5 and the newest member 0 so far:

Rating points

What are rating points for?
Rating points help to define the most important corporations and the most influential players in Big Business.

How to get rating points?
To get rating points for a corporation, its players shall complete various corporate tasks. More successful the corporation is with the tasks, more points it gets.

How are the rating points added?
Rating points are added to the whole corporation and each player separately. When the task is completed, rating points are added for every finished contract regardless of success in the task. If the task was successfully completed, you and your corporation would receive much more rating points and valuable prizes. Rating points will be added to a corporation. The same amount of points will be shared between the players depending on their contribution.

I think your ratings move around because other teams are earning points and jump ahead. Meanwhile after task completion each member needs to collect their award. When they do they get their share and then add to the corp total. So you may move up as your team members collect their prize. Does this make sense? If it does then explain it to me lol. My guess is as good as yours. Anyone started the second task? And what are you making?

Thanks for the discussion. So I gather you guys like this new feature. I am staying away from the corporations because I don't play regularly, just fill containers every now and then for free credits.

Yes, it is random. I am getting close to upgrading my port to level 4 and I haven't perceived any obvious pattern. You simply have a small chance to get gold, a better chance to get silver and the best chance to get bronze.
