I tried the user's name, not city name. I think it is because the user is based on iPhone, right?

The port is where you can sell goods at a % higher. If you fill your ship you receive an anchor and $1 city credit. You can ask up to 4 friends to help fill your containers. It is a good place to generate city credits. It is worth getting it open.

Getting to the port is half the fun. Once there, you got some things to do to activate it. The wikia spells it out nicely.
But as Scooteriggy said, worth getting.

Can we not use building brigades on garage or warehouse upgrades? I just tried and it gave me the message "this facility cannot be upgraded." I am going to be so mad if that is the case. I have been saving up my BB for the more expensive upgrades and now I have several with no quality use for them!

Sorry but unless there is a glitch, that seems to be the case. I'm so mad that I spent coins on so many factory upgrades wanting to save the BB for higher priced warehouse and garage upgrades.

That's annoying. Do you know if the building brigade can be used instead of city credits, ie for the credit only turbine upgrades?

I know they can be used for the Big Power Plant upgrades, but havent tried them on the two smaller power turbines.

I don't think you start seeing 7 vehicles per leveling-up until you're at level 35. I'm currently at level 31 and would get 6 vehicles when going to 32

The garage leveling up does increase to 8 trucks...If I recall, it changes from 7 to 8 around Level 50.
