Ok, am I nuts? I am in a corp, we have all been producing a lot of spices, etc. we didn't meet our target of 360, but why don't we get 2 points per item produced? Only 5 points each, which is presumably for being part of the corp each day? Can someone explain the point system?

From what I've deduced, you only get the two points per contract if you succeed. This is why team mates get allotted different points at the end, as everyone contributed varying amounts. Now, if you fail to achieve the goal then the best you can do is 5 points a day for daily participation.

Others may make corrections to my observations. I've noticed on the daily individual events that I got most of the items in the suitcase except the points. But I'm not positive, I didn't check my totals just before I opened the case.

Does it matter how they are handed out because as we all know GI will change it in another week.

If you look back on page 1015 you will see that I posted a response from GI about this. I lost all my points from the first "job" when my corp disappeared. I am still not getting a reasonable response about where they went. This time it was that your points disappear after every job. I refuse to give up till I get them back since it will be the only job I will ever complete.

It sort of seems pointless taking part in these tasks if you know your corp is definitely not going to make the target then? Surely that wasn't gi's intention.

Rating points are added for every finished contract regardless of success in the task.


For some peculiar reason, this made me assume that we would get ratings points for every finished contract, whether we were successful or not. Silly me!

Yes I have had crashing problems for a couple months now. GI wants a crash report sent, but I have not done that yet. Some days it is all the time, other days only when visiting friends.

Having the same mess. Followed GI instructions, no crash reports - empty folder. Don't use the word 'crash' with GI now; only tell them it just quits.

I have worked around by:
1. Closing all applications (double clicking home button, swiping all running apps off the screen including BB) and restarting iPad weekly;
2. Closing all background apps (including GI) before playing if you have been using the iPad for other apps (yes, some of us have discovered the iPad has some other uses apart from BB).
This has stopped the 'sudden quitting' apart from visiting friends, so I visit only 5 at a time; can't fill others' ships anymore because that definitely causes said sudden quitting.
Seeing 480 solvent needed for current contract sent me to my shrink. Btw, one of the new achievements 'Team Player' gives every member of a corp 1500 ex, 12000 coins and 4 dollars for completing 5 contracts in a row. Now, are we surprised that a 480 solvent contract appears - busts many a corp who had done 4 in a row. You little beauties, GI, done it yet again.

So *bleeping* annoyed!!!....I just spent 1,097,000 upgrading the admin building and even used a big hammer so I could start the hydro plant right away and after planting 4 trees and placing 1 little fountain I have to upgrade AGAIN for 1,184,000!!!!!!!!!!!

You should be able to destroy the trees after satisfying that specific task, which would free up space in your admin.

Try putting a building in storage until you are finished then destroy the trees/fountain and bring out the building
