Disabling Multitasking

What is switcher mod? I think you can do all of that stuff with Backgrounder alone.

it provides a couple of nice tweaks to the switcher. 1 always shows the cross to close apps without needing to wiggle first and 2 removes recent apps so only multitasking apps are in there. combined with backgrounder it s perfect.
give it a try.

No crashing here either, as I have background installed along the native multitasking and Remove BG...finally found the right combination of settings to achieve what I want.

I'm not sure what it was just yet, but with these 2 programs running, when I hit about 20% power I suffered from constant crashing of apps. anyone else notice this?

i run a whole lot more than these 2 mods and have never experienced constant app crashing. Also fail to see how on earth it could be related to the percentage of power remaining unless you have a hardware fault...

I also removed browser switcher and think this may be why the browser based apps kept crashing. But again it only appeared when battery got low.
Whatever I did after removing a few apps and changing some settings it seemed to resolve it as I was using XBMC and webbased apps last night down to about 5% with no related issue..

The options are in the iPad "Settings" application, in the "Extensions" section.

It removes recent apps from the iOS multitask bar?

Is there a backgrounder for the iPad? I am jb running 3.2.

Worked for me in 3.2
Install it thru Cydia ,you will get a desktop icon in which to tweak your settings.
