These questions are directed at Corey and Brooklyn since out of my friends on the game you seem to be the guru's on getting the 3 pain in the butts! Lol

Was it easy for you guys to get the 3? I don't know how much longer you have been playing than a lot of us so that could have something to do with it...

Did it take you a lot of try's for each one? Was the 2nd harder to get than the 1st of each? I know you guys got the suns and moons rather quickly. I believe neither of you are on jailbroken devices...

I know there's a lot of controversy over this gene thing but could it be possible if you ended up with say 2 crystals and 2 bluefires and the 2nd of each actually came from the first one's while breeding for something else and then you used the 2 second one's they produced and got one of the rares without you guys even knowing it? I know I don't know how I got half of my dragons at this point. I know I'm stretching here but I'm trying to think of any possibilities for the one's of us that are having such a hard time.

That's all I can think of right now to ask...I'm sure I'll come up with more later. Anyone else that has multiples of all please chime in for those of us that are struck in a rut. Thanks in advance for any input you guys can give us

I've got my rainbow egg yesterday, so I try to breed sun or moon, first I try sonic and storm, it turn out to be 8 hours than I remember about the theory that says make all your habitat full to get rainbow, so I did. except for water habitat ( 2 space left) so I make my rainbow with firefly and seaweed hoping I've got (at least water dragon) turn out in 1st try I got Rainbow ( very happy). Today I use the same theory, I use seaweed and storm and now I've got another 48 hours egg, what could this be? I trying for 3 weeks with bluefire and crystal and got nothing. maybe the theoryof limiting your space it's right

Ok the big 3 for me took a bit but the hardest for me to get was the rainbow it took days of being pissed off breeding blaze + crystal = rainbow but eventually I got the blasted thing then I started on the new ones using Mud + Storm = Moon
Bone + Storm = Sun. Funny thing is these were faster for me to get. The same day the came out I started searching for answers and found the combos I just mentioned and a few tries later u got the sun and moon. Now how fast I grew them rested on gems being given to me and the occasional 2 bucks. The gene thing I'm not sure since I would get repeats an sell them but it is possible that it works , the repeats of the special dragons arrived very fast after I got the first moon. For dime people my combos didn't work but for quite a few they work out just fine. What ever questions u or anyone has I will gladly try to answer all u have to do us ask, thank u and Breed on!!

What combo got you your blue fire? I've been using fire and ice or sometimes snow with no luck at all on another account I use.
For sun I used blue and crystal and I just got a moon egg from crystal and blue.

How do you get blue fire

Usually seaweed on the left, but have tried both.

Think I'm on my 12th attempt at blue fire, fire on the left, ice on the right. Every time it's bred an ice dragon.

Wouldn't I be nice if we could gift dragons to GC friends.

Try Fire+Snow. Got 2 Blue Fires in about 5 attempts.

Lol on the day sun and moon were released, I used Blue Fire+Crystal twice and got a sun. Then I bought gems to speed it up. I then used Sonic+Storm and got a sun and 2 moons. Took about an hour to get all 4 dragons. I had no boosts and my habitats were on the same island as my breeding cave. My second rainbow seemed troublesome but not too much at all. Used Blazing+Crystal for like 2-3 days and finally switched to Seaweed+Firefly and got it second try.

I know the rares have given trouble to everyone, but I never seemed to have a problem :/. I haven't been playing long at all. I got my phone on 10/14 when it was released and bred my first dragon on 10/16. I'm not jail broken cause the iPhone 4S has no jailbreak.

I don't think it's possible for me to have unknowingly tried the gene theory because once I got a dragon, any other dragons of the same kind that I got, I just sold.

I wish I had some other tips I an share about getting the rare dragons :/.

Wohoooo, after I don't know how many tries I finally got my Sandstorm. I wonder if buying gems really has something to do with getting the rare ones sooner than the non buying players? I bought some in the very beginning, not for much, but I got a sun, sandstorm and blue fire. Still trying now for moon and rainbow. There seems to be hope and with the update coming soon, things will stay interesting! Happy breeding

I got rainbow. But this sun dragon is do difficult. Iv tried every combo posted here on the forum. But I'm not gonna give up until I get it. )).

I hope you get it by Thanksgiving! That would be something to be thankful for!

Lol I thought the same thing but it got me mine too. Your very welcome! Whatever works riight?! Well I'm glad you got one! I really think it could be because I gave up on it and tried for a week or two to get Sun and Moon. Then I finally decided to try the gene thing. I'm actually not sure what to think if that makes sense. I wanna see if it works for others but I'm also giving it a go again to see if I can get another Rainbow. Congrats! I'm so glad it wasn't only me that it worked for.

I still have another 13 hours before I can even see the egg! But I'm still smiling anyway! LOL Thanks!!!!

So for those of you that have had lots of luck breeding the special dragons, wondering if you've spent a lot of money on gems. I have had no luck and trying to determine what could be a factor. Amount of money spent? Number of visitors? Any ideas other than boosts.

I was able to breed a sun dragon with lvl 10 fire and lvl10 storm, really trying for a blue fire dragon but happy with the sun dragon, lol. Hope this helps good luck.

I've been breeding for a rainbow dragon for a long time now, I thought to try snow and moss, since, cold and grass doesn't exist, and air and ground is sandstorm(low chances) so then there are only about 4 different dragons it could be, moss, snow, willow, or mountain, but that increases the chances of it being a rainbow, going to try it next!

I haven't think about that before. But that is a brilliant idea. Maybe it will be a new combo for sun or moon dragon too

Just got what I believe is my second Rainbow! Yay! Same Seaweed and Firefly I used with the first Rainbow last week. Will tell more tomorrow.
