Just got blue fire with fire and reindeer

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who recommended the crystal and blue. I FiNALLY have a 48 hour breed time. You guys are the best!

Lol, there I go putting all that thought and my best dragons in the epic breeding cave and what happens: nada. And then I throw something in the original cave just because I like their names Blitzen (Scorch) and Jolt (Storm) and I get my 3rd 48-hour breeding time. Yay!

Of course my hubby is taking full credit for this one because his alarm woke me up. Thank you, honey

As expected, my 2 hour one was indeed a Sandstorm.. Sun and Rainbow still pending..
Also, i had completed the earth shrine.. So, just to try how a Level 15 dragon would look like, i decided to make one dragon to Level 15 and chose the Sandstorm which is already bigger than the other normal ones when at Level 10.
I was amazed to see how big the dragon has become now in Level 15, its so huge, bigger than the rares..
Also, will try to complete the plant and fire shrines by today, thanks to poison and flower dragons..

Tips for Shrines:
Earth shrine - easiest way to complete is by buying earth eggs, hatching, leveling up and selling one after another..
Dont follow the same for plant.. its better to breed poisons and flowers and you can complete both plant and fire shrines as hatching fire alone takes more time..

Friends, please feel free to add any other tips to share..

Cool! Congrats on completing earth! I seen on Brooklyn's how big the sandstorm gets! Crazy. Good luck on plant and fire. They go pretty quickly.

Thanks for the tip on earth eggs! I think I will probably do something like that since it's the only other one I have right now. :thumbs:

New player here but I juz gotten the 2nd rare in my incubator.

1st rare I got was moon.. reindeer + scorch

2nd rare now in incubator is rainbow.. scorch + mud

am starting to guess dat scorch has sth to do with rares, nt really sure though juz thought I'd share

merry christmas guys..

its crazy there are more and more combos..

storm and quake for a moon..

scorch and mud for a rainbow..

reindeer and storm for a bluefire..

hope this works for me as well..

btw poison is awesome for fire and plant shrines but i find it hard to earn 500,000dc in 30 mins lol.. so if i lack dc i swap in fire and mountain in the hopes of getting bluefire.. which also either gives me a mountain or a lava which can help me level up earth/fire/cold shrines.. hope that helps..

and ty for those who gave me gems.. sorry if i was not able to give back to all of you.. 50 gems to go weee...

Yeh, the combos are out of control.

Lol congrats! The original breeding cave had been good to me too but not the epic island. Go figure.

Reverse psychology...I like it

I've been wondering though, why do people want to have more than one sun or moon? Rainbow makes more sense to me since it makes 400/minute...but sun and moon make less than other habitats at full capacity can make during the day. I suppose I need to do my math on how much I lose overnight or during the day when I don't empty my habitats, now that I might have a second moon coming. Hoping for a sun though.

Yea, I noticed. It hurt when I had to make the decision the other day between selling a dragon I don't need for shrines or selling one that is at level 11 and bringing the new one back up to that level. I decided to sell the newly hatched one and take the loss at the fire and plant shrines. There are definitely gold shrines in the future...keep breeding

Hey guys just thought I'd update and say that I spent ages getting my plant shrine sorted. I took the easy option and went with plant lol. Now working on getting a heck load of earth eggs to level up.

In other news, my boyfriend currently has a sun egg in the hatchery, I'm so jealous cos he has a rainbow dragon as well which he got on the first try in the epic breeding cave. And all I still have is my moon, no sign of me getting anymore rates any time soon
