Not good I'm afraid. He sleeps all the time and is stiff especially on the right hand side back leg. We'd call it the offside leg on a horse. He can't stand up for long at all. I'm assuming this is due to the cage rest he has to have. 10.10am tomorrow for x-ray. They say sleep is the best medicine. Let us hope so. He's only 10/11 months old.

Yes, it's been hard. Ruined our Easter weekend. He's sleeping on daddy's lap with Samson, the one who had most of his teeth taken out last year.

Oh, sorry Julie. I posted it on post your pet, I think. He's got a fractured pelvis but the worst bit, he also has cerebellar hypoplesia. It's hereditary from his mum and it's an inability to control his movement(legs, head maybe urinary). No cure. It's like he's gone back to being a kitten and relearning how to walk. I think the fall triggered it. Heartbreaking really. Euthanasia was suggested but it depends on him really. Is he happy? He's purring on my lap right now with Star next to me. I've got Bonnie's dog cage(she's my collie x spaniel) out for when I can't keep an eye on him. He falls into water/food bowl all the time. It's like he's drunk. Poor little buggar!

I hope so. Is his purring any indication that he is? He's curled up in between us in our bed. Hubby has been given an unexpected day off. I am certainly not complaining.
