Food anyone?

We have a series of ads around at the moment for in between breaks. They are often naff, but these are great & funny. Coming up is the link in a mo.

....This one has all 22 "indents". Imagine the potato wedges are watching the "kitchen sink" drama from the oven...we never tire of them, a difficult job for ad men to come up with.

This is another straight ad about the same wedges plus other products being made in the factory:

Has anybody had Flapper Pie? My mother used to make it quite frequently.

That's like our lemon meringue pie, Scifan. The lemon meringue has lemon which gives a lovely strong taste. Delicious, as I am certain the flapper pie is. Can it be served hot or cold?

EDIT. I have just seen your post, Darkangelwitch. Great minds, etc..

My Mother used to serve it cold.

Just tried M & M's brand scalloped potato for lunch. Impressive for store bought and frozen.
Another sign I suppose of advancing decrepitude
dulling the taste buds.

I had lasagna, roast pork (lechon), fried breaded chicken breast with white sauce, chili cheese sticks with garlic mayo, mango cake, beef broth loaded with fatty beef meat but tasted wonderful, and other foods that I could hardly translate. Gad, I'm a walking time bomb right now. Please help me define cholesterol again.
