OMG I <3 sushi!!!Just had a bowl of Japanese pickles known as takuwan -- if you've ever eaten sushi at a decent sushi restaurant, you've probably been offered some at some point:

A Japanese friend gave me a couple of jars that she made. I like her personalized version -- she adds chilies, so the pickles have a special kick that makes you blow your nose.
