Maybe potatoes in jackets is an English saying handed down....don't know, have always said it though.

Would love some biscuits....cheddar cheese bits sounds very good!

Potatoes in jackets.. We usually say jacket potatoes. They are baked in their skins. I love the crispy skins. The potatoes can be served as is, or lit open to receive a filling such as grated cheese or coleslaw.

Our home variation is to put kidney chilli beans in the jacket potatoes.
