Potatoes in jackets.. We usually say jacket potatoes. They are baked in their skins. I love the crispy skins. The potatoes can be served as is, or lit open to receive a filling such as grated cheese or coleslaw.

Our home variation is to put kidney chilli beans in the jacket potatoes.

My grandmother would threaten to serve us "fried holes and rabbit tracks" when she was having a bad day. Back in the day.

Gosh all this is making me hungry...cookies, Mac and cheese!

Just had a turkey sandwich and thinking of having some fig Newton's for dessert! :)
