Food anyone?

Hayes, that sounds amazing. I think pictures should be a requirement for this topic, lol. We are having Bill's famous hot wings for dinner, my mouth is already watering. Wings, a cold bud light and football, sounds perfect to me.

Oops. I'm sorry to say that I can't as it's inside me and very nice it was too! I love lemon with chicken. My daughter made me some banoffee pie to go with it. Devine. We finished off with some Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot. Can't get better than that.

Is your husband a baker by profession?

No, he used to be assistant manager at our local supermarket and assisted in the prebaking stage for its bakery and now helps out a local baker by assisting and selling the bread at local markets. The job was created for him as the bakery wanted to go into the market trade and not trade from a shop in town He is now their top seller and the customers love him. He is a natural salesman and loves his job, he hated working in the shop as he was a farmer when I met him and worked for my dad when we met. My dad used to own the supermarket before another supermarket took over. Shop hours are awful. 60 - 70 hour days were the norm and he also had to answer the call of the shop alarm. It was temperamental on a windy day. He loves going to all the farmers markets and meeting up with other stall holders.
Wow! Short answer no he is not a baker but works for one. I doubt he'd like to work those hours. He can do most of the baking if needed though.

Work that one enjoys, isn't work. Your husband is fortunate. I patronise a few farmers markets about 25 minutes driving time from my home.
Prefer it to the large format grocers in the city.

Agreed. The smallholders are a friendly bunch. They look after each other and swop produce. We have fresh veg, fruit, sausages, meat, plants, sweets etc... You can't get fresher than that. Most supermarkets can't claim that. He also does all the summer shows, Xmas shows etc... They started with him and now have 6 vans.

One of the markets I frequent has a Christmas event. You order your pies, breads, chocolates
and other sweets in advance OR take your chance on walk-up.

I don't know why, but I CAN'T GET ENOUGH MUSTARD!!! I probably get it after my aunt, when she was little she used to LOVE mustard she used to put it on a spoon and stick peas to it so the peas would stick better, sometimes she would even eat the mustard out of the jar. I like mustard on potatoes too. Sometimes I combine ketchup and mustard lol.

Went to Outback Steakhouse for Sunday dinner. Had a 6 oz. sirloin, french onion soup, chicken and artichoke flatbread, bloomin' onion, salad and cheesecake. WAY off my diet, but it's just one day! :)
