Richard sausages with marmalade.
I will try it.
Have a recipe for a whiskey marmalade.
This would be good too

It worked pretty well for me when at school. The sausages were fat old beefy things which were not too nice on their own.  As Hayles said, try unusual sauces etc .

Talking about accompaniments, we have gone off mint sauce and now use mint jelly which is sweeter. I guess mint sauce was vinegary and sour to dress up mutton.  

Yes Richard I intend to,
Was looking for a food suggestion.something easy and exotic!

We bought a very tasty mild Thai chilli sauce from Brixton Market (a great cosmopolitan place in at Electric Avenue (street sung about by Eddie Grant)). Anyway, the sauce works well in stir fry, or some put on the side of your plate as a relish. The manufacturer is Sea World Cold Storage Co Ltd.

Cooked the Rick Stein recipe for Vietnamese duck in orange spicy sauce.
Delicious.
Made lemongrass chicken balls with a sticky sweet caramel chilli drizzle.
Tom yum guong first.
Very hot and spicy.
Boiled rice and steamed bok Choy .
What a feast
