Gardening!

I've read a fair number of gardening books but do not remember reading anything by Hamilton. It's possible I don't remember since my memory for authors names is shot (a sad statement from a retired librarian). Do you remember the name of the plant that suppresses grass. I have some spots that would be useful. Thanks, Bobbi

Hi Bobbi, it's Yellow Rattle a semi parasitic annual with yellow hooded flowers. There are loads of hits on Google. :)

My new dawn breaks.

Richard, I read about the yellow rattler. Sounds interesting but a possible invasive problem.

Here are a few roses that are out now. Darcy Bussell dark pink. The yellow one I've forgotten the name. The pink ones also forgotten but well travelled. 3 homes.

What wonderful plants. I'm so envious of the delphinium. They never come back here. Too much heat and humidity. Your roses are so pretty. Plants that you've had for a long time are like comfort food. I have hostas that came from my grandfathers yard and iris from my mom. Not fancy ones but I think of them whenever I look at them.

But I bet your hibiscus and bougainvillea are terrific.

Sub tropical plants and flowers are superb.

Awesome pics, Guys!! I love the Delphinium, Hayles--very impressed that you started it by seed 2 years ago. That makes the experience even more special.

I have put in a Hummingbird Feeder about 2 weeks ago and have had daily visits by these guys. I now want to grow some honey suckle flowers and even some hibisucs since they like that a lot.

My delphinium comes up every year--I guess I am lucky and that it likes the soil.

WTH. It said the first load had failed to load. Oh well! Double flowers. I grow honeysuckle everywhere. Buddleia for butterflies I love smells so I suppose that's where my love of roses, lavender etc...started I will post my other roses when they are fully out.

Hi Tweety tati, welcome to the forums.

This is the wrong thread in which to post this. Look for threads which deal with iPad problems and put your query there. You should get some helpful replies.
