The first butterflies I've seen this year.

Great shots! I really like the second one.

You've got to post photos of your Hosta flowers, I've never seen them before. All this talk about Hostas has made me curious.

After many days of rain it finally is just hot and humid. My Crape Myrtle is blooming the first flush. My herbs are going strong in their pots too.

I always expect to see food when I see your Avatar......I really need to go eat. ;)

That is a lovely Myrtle.

And your herbs are very good unlike my sad ones!

I got an really good deal on 40 concrete stepping stones. the drag was that they are 20" sq. and weigh about seventy pounds each.It took 4 truck loads to get them all home and the last load were unloaded with help from an unsuspecting hitchhiker. In the fall we will install them in the basement laundry room and extend the patio.

Last night, Alan Titchmarsh's programme, Love Your Garden, was very good.

He transformed a small urban garden into a superb haven.

The previous night, we watch the first of 3 programmes on the Hampton Court Flower Show. Tropical plants and what can be grown here in the UK were showcased. Methinks a couple of tree ferns may make their appearance at home some day. ;)
