And that purple is from the one tiny shoot of perilla I planted out front 20 years ago. It's everywhere. I usually do a slightly better job of keeping it in control, but this year everything got ahead of me and with all the rain the weeds are too big for me to get out. Good thing I like weeds.

Well, if that's a mess Bennettb it's a nice looking one. Beautiful relaxing greenery around you and your obvious gardening know how. It's just so nice to see y'all enjoying your summer!

It's beautiful garden, including the weeds. I seem to always be behind on getting the weeds out. Lilies seem to be the standouts right now.

I love that yellow lily you have. All mine are pink, white or mixed. I may have to look for a yellow to go in with the hemerocallis.

I like the ruffled edge on your day lily. I used to have balloon flower and lost it it a move. Yours is a lovely plant.

Thank you, Bennett! I wished I bought a few more of the pink/red day lilies. I have an abundance of the yellow ones-which just gets a bit monotonous after a while.

My balloons are about 7 years old now. It came late this year, but looks like it had a lot of flowers! I'll take a pic of it when they open!

Thank you, Richard! Not at this time-I won't be adding to my collection. Next year will be a year of trimming up and separating a few overgrown plants that need to be moved. Maybe the following year!
