Google Earth My Places

Friends,

I am a fairly new user of an IPAD 2 that I picked up used. It is aweseome and I am perplexed by my inability to get the My Places that I have saved on my laptop Google Earth app to show up on my IPAD Google Earth app.

My thought was that when I signed onto Google Earth in the IPAD ap it would bring all the saved My Places from the desktop / laptop client, but it does not. Google has been no help and no one else seems to know anything about it.

My work requires saving lots of 'Places' so I can plan my travel and it would be aweseome to have it accessible on the IPAD. Any thoughts on something I might be missing?
