Suddenly the door bell rings setting her mind into a small panic. She rushes to the door, wine glass in hand and opens it to reveal Kev standing there. What is he doing here? She thinks to herself knowing her mysterious guest would be arriving soon. Kev cautiously smiles and says, “I was in the neighborhood and wanted to drop off….."

"... this aaarrrgggghhhh!" "What's an aaarrrgggghhhh?", she said. But he couldn't speak, the package slipped slowly from his hands to the ground, he stared, wide-eyed behind her, then turned and ran, as if terrified. "How strange", she thought, as she took a large, restorative sip of her chilled wine. She closed the door and turned to go back to the kitchen, then stopped, and stared in amazement at...

....the large, hairy tarantula staring back at her from beneath the flowers Kev had dropped on the floor before he had run away. "Perhaps the spider bit him?" She thought to herself. "It must have come out of the flowers,"

Funny how a big, strapping guy like Kev had been afraid of a tarantula. While the size of her fist, plus the legs, she actually found this tarantula appealing. They made good companions, always wanting to snuggle for the body heat. If only Kev knew she'd value the tarantula more than the flowers.

She scooped up the flowers and the tarantula and closed the door. Moving back to the kitchen, she dropped her new pet in the terrarium as she passed through the living room. Once back in the kitchen, she continued sipping her wine and stirred the meal on the stove, confident that any minute the doorbell would ring. How she anticipated this visit! Just then, the doorbell rang again. She glided across the room once again to open the door. Finally! It was.....

the first class tickets, in her name, Ruth E. Breethers, for the inaugural voyage of the newly restored Titanic! What?! A beautiful blue diamond necklace... Wait! She ran outside just as he was starting to pull away in his SUV. Kev! Kevlar S. Douglas! He almost didn't hear her because he is always absorbed in his tunes...

She leads him back to the house explaining that these past 3 years have been full of changes. Her children became adults and have moved on, she and her former husband have become better friends, and she knew that Kevlar not only took over Kim Ease job, and not only did he become the CEO of his company, he formed a team to raise the Titanic and prepare her for uber luxury travel once again.

As they were talking, the doorbell rang again...and again...and...

This topic kinda BUGS me (bugs/spiders)
An Iraq-nid = arachnid which is an 8 legged creature whose body is formed into 2 parts

it was. Kinda weird tho I was seeing all the Iraq.. and stuff, did not know where unwere going, do not know bug names, do not want to.
