My current peeve on HD, in case anyone is interested 
is when you find people who have lots of exciting stuff in their stall, like bolts and panels and jams etc, and so you start following them. Then after a while, you realise that they only have two or three active slots in their stall, in which they only sell blue hats and eggs, and they never collect the coins from the bolts, panels and jams, so it always looks like they have just had them up for sale. I presume it is a ploy to attract followers, and it is really annoying! And I do unfollow them. But I still wish they wouldn't do it.

Oh I TOTALLY agree. I have two or three like that, except they sell smoothies! I really dislike the fact that purchased and sold items still show up after the fact. It makes me sad for what I might have missed and I find it somewhat pointless!
My bigger problem right now is that my avatar isn't showing up on helped boats etc so I can't keep track of boats I've already helped! I don't know why it's gone all of a sudden? Or how to get it back.

Yeah, it's weird. I have deleted the app on both my ipad and iPhone and reloaded it too. It used to be there, but not for a couple weeks.
Here's the before and after that I see.....
I'm not sure how to fix it either. But it sure is irritating!

OMG! I totally know what you're saying! I have a couple of neighbors like that! Their stalls are like idyllic moments frozen in time of all the splendor that once was available...a month ago. Today there's just three blue hats and 10 red smoothies tucked in at the end. SO annoying!!!! I have literally NEVER bought anything of any value from them. I unfriended one person who's roadside stayed like that from thanksgiving through the new year. I just couldn't take it anymore! People! Stop doing this!! Thank you for bringing this the the forefront of people's attention, Anthea. And if you ever run for a political office you've got my vote

That is so weird, and annoying. When you say you have deleted the app, do you mean GC or HD? Sometimes I see that same generic player avatar on a boat I've filled, but then the real avatar loads after a while.
And GC KEEPS logging me out! Which means I can't see all my neighbours and can't get onto LP without sorting out GC first. Sigh.
Is anyone else addicted to 2048? I'm getting RSI on my RSI from it.
