Ladies!!! Yee haw! I was with horses on a ranch and maybe a lil cowboy or two! Hahaha! Sooo much fun! Life is great and wonderful! God is so good! My lovely tan is all from swimming...I'm almost a brown-skinned girl...well, as brown as a German,English,Irish,Scottish, Dutch, Welch,French girl can be tanned! (Okay...I'm a conglomeration of fair skinned ancestry!). So fun tho to wear cowboy boots and cowboy hat! Best news, tho...I got carded at the Yard House in Oxnard! I coulda kissed that bartender! If ya look 35 or under, ya get carded! Whatcha all doing tonight?

I was the one in the PJ's on the couch, Val, lol! But it has been hot here, they've been counting how many days it's been over 80, which doesn't sound like much, but it is out here! It was over 90 for several days and there was lots of moaning and flapping about over it, hahaha! Have a lovely time in Reno, stay cool and stay trip home on Sunday Are you really working your fingers to the bone out there? Hmmm....lol!

Well, actually, I have been found on the couch in PJs on more than one occasion...

Oi! Sammy!! Where did you get that pic of me??? I've been looking for that for AGES!!! It's not often that I have blonde hair, so I like to document it for posterity. All these long lost relatives popping up all over the world!! Why aren't we all in the same place??

Please disregard the total fish eyeball effect of my picture, by the way!! I swear I'm not quite so disproportionate! Lol!!

It's very hard to take a selfie with an iDevice, with your elbow, as we all know. Actually, while Carolyn was away, I thought of suggesting an avi change, and I thought crazy hairstyles, (our own) photographed with elbow or toe, would be hugely fun, until I tried it! In my case, this involved left hand holding hair in crazy style, right knee wedging iPad against the arm of the chair, left hand helping to hold hair in crazy style, right elbow attempting to reach iPad, etc. I discovered that

• it is not possible to take a picture on an iPad with your elbow while wearing a thick winter jumper, and
• hair clips, pins, etc are really quite essential for such an undertaking, and
• I should be a lot less ambitious with my avi ideas, and
• it is absolutely imperative that I get out more.

Advanced Selfie Tricks:

If you have a set of Apple's headphones with the volume controls, you can use the plus (volume up) button as a remote shutter. The other option is to get one of the third party camera apps that have a timer function.
