Hello, I'm an older generation user with some of what that implies. Try to adapt but things are often not obvious or intuitive, particularly some gobbledygook - oh I've used computers nearly every day for 20 years but there are some areas and explanations quite impenetrable.
Have been using an iPad 2 for about a year. I do love it for what it enables. I am using it at a fraction of its capabilities. Particularly use for reading newspapers, journals and books, where it has been a positive revolution. I am a lot on certain Internet forums - where so far it has a few disadvantages of convenience compared with posting from computer, but I'll soon post about that. Also have a classic iPod.
If I ask a question here it is probably after having not found the answer in the iPad user guide, iPad for Dummies, the I-pad Book (which seem mostly about telling you how brilliant it is) and applied logic, what I know, and experimented and am still stuck.
