Hey I have been doing alot of research but just can not work out how to jailbreak an ipad 3!

I've got ios 6.1 and I know I can't do it on there (or so it seems) so I'm guessing I should downgrade. But what to? What's the last ios I can downgrade to that has jailbreak on it?

Thank you so much! I'm hopeless with it all lol
Ill try to find out how to downgrade when I know what to downgrade to :)

You will need a backup of the blobs from a previous version.

Jailbreaking is extremely easy to do an should only take you about 10 min. If your iPad is pre A5 you can do a tethered jailbreak but I would wait until the untethered is released

The OP has an iPad 3 on iOS 6.0.1, as stated, there is no jailbreak for iOS 6 on the iPad 3.

Nor, again, is there any way to downgrade an iPad3 on iOS 6. NONE.

No matter what iOS you find, what SHSH blobs you may or may not have - once an iPad3 is on iOS 6.x, there it will stay. No downgrade possible.

Sorry.
