I've never heard of this and would say its not viable because of the nature of the apps being sandboxed from each other. Besides the passcode lock, you can set up certain restrictions on the iPad. Have a look in Settings - General - Restrictions, setting these will require a password. There are other apps available that do require a code to access them.

Hi all. Got my iPad a few weeks ago, though I've had an iPhone much longer so IOS isn't completely new to me. I've discovered a few things I'd like help with, which is why I've come here.
