Hello I'm here to find ways to use the iPads at our office that will help in the relaying of information to coworkers and our clients. I work in an architecture firm and am very disappointed in the minimal abilities of the iPad to view and manipulate 3D models created in a variety of software. There needs to be more apps developed to feed this starving market. If you have any good suggestions, feel free to message me.

Hi everyone, greetings from Scotland...
Have had an iPhone for about 20 months now (and eagerly awaiting to see what Apple will do with the iPhone 5!) but a fairly recent convert to a lovely big iPad3.
Primarily I use it for watching movies and reading books whilst commuting, Flipboard, various productivity apps and photo editing. Keen to expand my knowledge of the photo-editing side of things and I am looking forward to exposing myself (to your vast knowledge, sheesh!!
).

I am a spoon maker and bushcrafter who lives and works on Dartmoor, Devon south west England.
My main skill is carving spoons and drinking vessels using basic tooling,ie knife and axe and passing on my skills via courses given here at home.
I take many photographs of my work, tutorials etc and I write a blog on 'blogger'... spooncarvingfirststeps.blogspot.com...I have just finished a short lived dalliance with a 'Scroll Elite Android' tablet. It is now on it's way back to the manufacturer.
I need a small powerful tablet type device that I can use to grab photos from my camera and then squirt the photos up to 'blogger' with text added.
I also want a device that will play my music collection.
I don't need much in the way of storage. Although I am a little worried about the ipads lack of connectivity between external drives.
I think I've covered just about all.
I will now go off and search for answers to all my questions.

Update to iOS5
I have a first generation iPad, and I don't know how to update the operating system. I still have iOS 3 and can't even use 90 percent of the apps I want. I'm truly not an idiot, but when I connect the device to my computer, nothing happens and I have no idea what to do.
