What's new

If you are new, please post an introduction thread.

Hello to all the iPad junkies out there, from sunny ALABAMA!...(yes some of us here are computer literate) I recently received a 32 Gig 1st Gen iPad as a gift, and went to the internet to learn how to get my home network set-up so I can get the WI-FI to work on it, found this forum and WOW! What an incredible tool for learning all things iPad!!! Looks like there are some wonderful people on this forum that enjoy helping others and that is help that can't be beaten! Thanks to all that help me get all I can out of my new toy....errr, I mean, TOOL. My wife really didn't think I needed one as bad as I felt like I did! Having the ability to take this to my shop where I make custom knives, and being able to look up and use all the resources on-line is something I have need for a long time!!! I say THANK YOU to the Administrators, the Moderators and everyone else that makes this forum a wonderful! OH, and BTW, Mods, I will never intentionally break the rules, I did read them, but I have serious memory issues, due to brain surgery, if I do anything I'm not supposed to do, please bring it to my attention, or do whatever you need to do with it, I love the fact that this a family friendly forum and I am a family man, so that won't be the problem, I intend on getting my 14 year old son to sign up on here as well, after I buy him his first iPad for Christmas, sssshhhh, it's a secret! THANKS for all y'all do!!! Rex McClellan

Hello. I'm a new ipad owner. I've started with the iPad2. I love my iPad and can't believe I've waited this long to purchase one. I am a wedding venue owner looking for ways to track each event and individual client agreements, vendor contact info etc. I'd also like to be able accept credit card payments through an ipad app. I also need to be able to share this info with my staff so we are all on the same page with each client. I know it has the capability of accomplishing exactly what I need...but I am having a terrible time finding the right apps. Hoping this forum will lead me in the right direction.

Good day all from a chilly Eastern Ontario, 32GB iPad3 wifi only n00b. Just scanned some of the posts above - very impressed with the amount and quality of info and help! Looking forward to learning lots here and maybe someday being able to return the favour to other new users.
