What's new

If you are new, please post an introduction thread.

Hi iPaders.
I use an iPad 2 for teaching and chatting. I have used my iMac for these to as well as a lot more stuff that computers can do.
I have iPad Air envy and will get one when the time is right. I do want the 128 GB one, which is ridiculous I know.
I use an iPod for audiobooks and an iPhone for phoning of course.
I will probably get an iPhone 6. My iPhone is a 3G and does what I need it to do.
I am obviously an Apple fan, and have been since ... ??? 1980s I guess.
I started with the Baby Mac, no HD, Tiny Ram. Used several strange Macs over the years.
I also started with Commador 64 and then 128.
When Macs go wrong, it is usually operator error. But that is true in life as well, right?

Hey y'all! I actually posted 2 questions before posting in here because I'm just frustrated with searching for answers and not finding any. I have an iPad2 that I use for games most of all, but I also use it for FB and the usual looking stuff up on Safari. It's got me spoiled though and I don't even want to go in the other room to get on the PC unless it's absolutely necessary lol.

Hi Myshell--welcome to the Forum! I did the same myself back in 2011 when I was thinking of buying an iPad 2 myself. I learned a lot as a visitor here and felt that it was worth joining because of the valuable info I gained here. Anytime you have a question just holler. We're all here to help!

Enjoy and best wishes,

Hi,
I am a new Apple user having used Windows since 95 days and now on Windows 7 on my laptop. My husband and I have recently bought iPads and an iPhone 5s each. Until yesterday we were highly delighted although the learning curve has been quite steep. (My previous phone was Windows 7.8) I like kmattlin's term of tabslate as I remember using the original slates at school in the 1940s. Although less high tech they did not present the problem I am having with my current model which is probably more appropriate for another thread. I am hoping that as well as finding help for problems I might be able to contribute something useful to others from time to time.
