Hello all. I am John from the UK currently living in Ghana. Recently decided my samsung phone was a bit too small to use comfortably and got an iPad mini2. Have to say I am really pleased with it although it was a bit pricier than the competition. Joined to get some useful tips for using it and to find out if there are any specific issues. Getting used to the iOS is the biggest challenge. Look forward to joining in the discussions.

Hello! Welcome to iPF! You can always ask anything you want, and we will help you in the best way we can. It will take some time, but you will eventually get used to iOS. I think, and I beleive eneryone else on this forum also think so, that the iPad and iOS is an unending path of knowledge, we have owned the device for quite a few years, but still, ther are lots of things, that we are learning, about the iPad.

I read the forum rules about the importance of searching for past threads on certain topics before creating a new one. This is a great idea, however, the search doesn't seem to work at all. lol I wanted to make a thread about the horror genre and I searched for "horror" and it seemed to bring up everything under the sun including the weather, Hayday, the Simpsons and music.

Welcome to the forum. Depending on personal preferences, 3 out of 4 of the search results you referenced, could fall into the 'horror' category.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

It's best to use the Search feature on the site as opposed to from the App itself. Try a variety of words, a one word search is unlikely to give you good results, but having said that I don't recall seeing any threads on the Horror subject, although I do remember 1 thread on spooky stories of member experiences.
