Hello. I am getting nowhere on the site which is mainly due to me being a beginner (and old!). I pressed the new thread hyperlink on the introductory thread as advised by it but was taken to a shopping site!
I want to pose a question about my new ipad but can't find how to post it. Thanks Buster999

Thanks for the reply. I think I have solved my own problem more by luck than brainpower. I am currently using a PC to answer so I guess I should be using the Ipad to download your recommended App. I have, believe or not, read tips and tricks, books on the ipad, etc. over the past couple of days but I guess only bits of it stick! I will no doubt be back next time I get stuck. Thanks again.

Well that's great to hear, no matter how you've accomplished it! As you play with your iPad more all those tips and tricks will become second nature....they're kinda logical once you get your head around Apple's way of doing things!

Good luck and enjoy!!

Greetings, i purchased an iPad Air 64gb during a valentine day sale...for myself. I got away with that as my wife is buying some new fandangled gold prospecting gadget for herself (a hobby of hers during our camping adventures in the Pacific Northwest US).

The reason i purchased the iPad was to specifically add to my music/sonic creation tools. Back in the 1970's (yes i'm dating myself!) i picked up a Roland System 100 with all the modules...and added a new synth about every year or so. All the hardware has since been sold and i went PC-software based studio. Most of my time on the PC is in a program called "Mind WorkStation" for creating BrainWave Entrainment audio files for use in local Yoga/Therapy classes/clinics and stress relief.

During the first couple days the time on the iPad with various music creation related apps has been great.

Thanks for hosting what looks like a fun and informative forum.
Thom
