Hi Everyone, My Daughters just bought me a IPad last week and im still trying to figure it out... Never used an "I" anything before and for an old guy its a learning experience...Alas i have a problem and so why im here i dont expect it to be my only issue, infact i guess you will be seeing plenty of me...Your IPad for Beginners Is helping so thankyou for writing it..

Hi and welcome to the Forum. My aren't you lucky getting an iPad from your daughters. It is a bit of a learning curve though, but that's why we're here to help each other. You will find doing some searches will provide the answers you're searching for, if you can't find it, then by all means post your questions, there are many friendly folk here only too willing to help you. A great thread - Tips and Tricks - for those of us who don't know, is a great place to start with many tips and shortcuts. An Introduction...Hello Everyone...LibraryBob here

A small library in a small town gets most of my attention applied to everything as needed...helping patrons...cataloging...solving patron computer issues...backup tech guy...fixing worn out & broken everything. Absolutely love it.
We're about to introduce 25 iPads to a population that has some struggles using Windows...and has not played with touch screen systems much...so there'll be tons of questions, repeatedly...
I've a rusty old iPad 1, used A LOT...

Hello, just joined the forum so that I could keep up to date with everything relating to the iPad2.

I have had my iPad2 64GB WiFi for about 3 months and just updated to iOS5 and found this forum invaluable regarding the download (ERROR 3200) problems, Thanks!

I use my iPad mainly for browsing, shopping, games - especially 'Pub Slots', (addictive...simple, but addictive).

I also use my iPod Classic alot less these days, (it's practically redundant!)

If I have any problems with my iPad2 this forum is always my first 'port of call'
