If you are new, please post an introduction thread.

Thanks for the welcome to the forum 'leelai'.
So far, so good as far my iPad is concerned, but if I have any problems I'll be sure to post.

Just got my first Apple product....the iPad2. Lots to learn. Looking forward to the experience.

Welcome to the Forum!! Yes there is so much to learn and now with IOS5 there's even more, but it's half the fun discovering all the new things we can do. Enjoy!!

Hey ladies/gents, just joined the forum. I had the original iPad but sold it and upgraded to the iPad2. I'm an apple enthusiast who has almost every Apple product and will continue to purchase Apple products in the future.

Greetings from Canada.

New to iPad (1 month).
Switched to iPhone 4 from Blackberry Bold a year ago.
The beauty of these devices is they let me work and play.
This is a cool forum. Learning something new daily.

Any BSG fans out there?

Hello everyone. I have an Ipad 2 and an an iPhone 4 and i like to come to this forum to find out information about my apple products, it's a very useful site. Add me on game Center too. Zegnima.

Just found and loaded the Apple forums app on my iPad 2; been using iPad since 1 was first released; really like gadgets -- electronic or otherwise; using an iPhone 4 and am still mulling over going to 4S; live in WV panhandle, USA.

Hey everybody, new to this forum and apple products. Bit the bullet and brought an iPad2, I've had it for about 2months now and quite like it. Looking forward to learning all there is to know from you guys.

Hi, I've just moved both the iphone4 and iPad 2 to iOS 5, as well as updating my MacBook Pro to Lion, and am noticing that some things aren't working right and wondered if anyone here had any ideas of why it's not working.

Supposedly all my content is synced in the iCloud, but I'm noticing that the address book on the iPad has some entries that aren't' there on the MacBook Pro.
I don't know where I would see photos being streamed. The iPhoto on the Macbook, the Camera Roll on the iPad and Camera Roll on the iPhone all still show the same content as before the iOS 5 and Lion conversions-- which is to say that none of the photos are being pushed.

Am I missing something- some command I'm supposed to enter?

Oh, and by way of introduction, I'm a retired elementary teacher with a particular interest in technology and finding LOTS of ways to waste time on updating procedures! Mostly I like it but it sure takes a lot longer than expected to familiarize myself with new capabilities of the software.

Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of great people here willing to lend a hand anytime. Often using the Search box (at the top-left of every page) will lead you to the answers you're looking for. If not, feel free to post a question in the appropriate area.

Congratulations on your updates! With respect to Contacts and anything else associated with iCloud, make sure all of your devices have the iCloud sync feature enabled. If it's off on any one of them, syncing won't work.

With respect to Photo Stream, only new photos (taken with your iPhone or iPad) will be synced between your iDevices and iPhoto on your Macbook. Again, ensure that Photo Stream is enabled on all of your devices.

Here are the details:

Hope that helps.

Welcome again and enjoy!

FWIW if you're anything like the teachers I had in elementary school...you should be proud. Teachers change lives and really make a difference. Thank you!
