Hello, I don't know how many years its been since I've been a newb with a piece of technology. But, I am today. Yay for my new iPad2!!! I've been an iphone lover for several years but this is my first computer'ish apple product. From Indianapolis, IN USA.

Hi Everyone! Lilajane here and ready to learn the odds and ends of the iPad. Have had mine since December 2010 and love it, but am always looking for new ways to use it.
 
Hi guys I'm new to this site and wanted to introduce myself I'm Darren aka coolashaker hoping to get loads of hints and tips for my new iPad 2 lol

Hallo.

My name is Ephy; I'm a chocolatier in Mississauga. I use my iPad mostly for puzzle and strategy games, but also as a recipe book. My husband's cat uses my iPad as a warm spot to nap. =P

I grew up around Apple products (my first computer was an Apple II+), but haven't really used them since I left home, apart from during my college training in digital media design. I'm a gamer, and most games are designed to run on the Windows platform. Still, I feel that a computer is just a tool, like a pencil or a pen, and one chooses the best tool for the job at hand.

That said, I have fun with the iPad. I bought my godson an iPod, and he liked it so much, I decided it would be nice to have something similar for myself. My husband has a tablet with the Android OS, for variety. We are technology geeks. ^.^ I would love to extend my training as a programmer to coding for the iOS. Object Oriented Programming languages have always intrigued me.

I'm a lurker by nature, but figured I may as well stick my head in the door and say 'hi'. =)
