This is the only frog I saw of many that I heard at a pond we walked by.

Good shot. I spent a couple of days taking pictures of frogs at a lake. They are surprisingly photogenic.

Took my DSLR and zoom lens to the Mill Creek Trail today. Cloudy, and not the best light, but got a few sharable shots anyway (out of over 250).









They've all been cropped and tweaked a bit.

Great shots tp. Are those multi lights to cover a sports field, perhaps a baseball pitch you mentioned earlier.

I think these pics are great AQ_OC. Looks like the little guy standing up for himself, with the big guy turning into a big sook to escape. Just my take on these

The red-winged blackbirds are courageous (or stupid) birds. I've seen them harassing ospreys near the osprey's nesting site.

The red-wings chase the herons too...I assume it is about protecting their young, but I guess it could just be "just because..."

I have not been able to get a nice close up of a red-wing blackbird, however.
