Took my DSLR and zoom lens to the Mill Creek Trail today. Cloudy, and not the best light, but got a few sharable shots anyway (out of over 250).

They've all been cropped and tweaked a bit.

Nice photos! It's always a welcome surprise when a photo looks just right and DOESN'T need tweaking.

Here are some birds shots I got yesterday:

Red-winged blackbird chasing after a hawk:

I think these pics are great AQ_OC. Looks like the little guy standing up for himself, with the big guy turning into a big sook to escape. Just my take on these;)

The red-winged blackbirds are courageous (or stupid) birds. I've seen them harassing ospreys near the osprey's nesting site.

Here's a grapevine growing against a garage in a back alley near my place. image-1794147403.webp image-704561924.webp.

Here are the new flowers, just starting to form.

The red-wings chase the herons too...I assume it is about protecting their young, but I guess it could just be "just because..." :)

I have not been able to get a nice close up of a red-wing blackbird, however.

I guess it is obvious that I enjoy shooting birds....
