We visited Southbank today which is on the banks of the Brisbane River across from the city of Brisbane. It was the site of World Expo 1988 which just happened to have its 25th anniversary from when it first opened today. It has been transformed into many different areas for everyone to enjoy and it was just such a beautiful day to enjoy it all!

You're right. I had to zoom in to find some snow.
It has vanished very quickly.

That's a great view.
Have you seen the one taken from the opposite viewpoint? The Apollo 8 Crew took one from lunar orbit, showing the earth in the same relative position as the moon occupies in this shot.

Did both of you see our Ferris Wheel.....I'm sure it was only erected because of yours. There's also 1 down the coast too.
