What's new

iOS 4.2.1 Available Now - Yes, Really

This is why I hate windows so passionately!! It is a game console and thats it! Useless OS! nothing works if you store everything on the OS drive yet they force you to install everything to the OS drive!!!

My Mac OS Drive is for the OS and apps (which can easily be moved if they need to be!!) everything else is in other places!
Took my Windows 7 box a whopping 8 or 9 minutes to complete the entire process, and that *includes* the 5-6 minutes of download time.

No problems here!

That would be because itunes didn't use up every byte on your c:

Thanks!

I think I am going to do it right now--do I need some bourbon to settle my nerves?:D

Eh--I'll just hop over to the other partition and start and let the chips fall where they may.

Be back--with a good report, I hope!

Actually I know exactly what I am doing. In previous version of windows you could just reassign where the documents folder was...no longer an option in win 7.
I have worked on windows and mac and linux for many many years...not just passively I have done much low level support. Windows is the least efficient. It is good for gaming and thats about it. That is my opinion and you will not sway me on it.

Certainly it's an option: Change location of My Documents Folder - Windows 7

Everyone's entitled to an opinion, misguided though it may be. ;)

OK I haven't had time to even touch it since the update, but the last time I saw it there were rain drops coming down the screen. Did anybody else see this? It has been raining today.

Running Windows 7. Took 9 minutes to update. Running good. Folders work great. Would be nice to have instructions for the changes.

Just because you (or your girlfriend) don't know what you are doing doesn't mean you have to flame an entire OS. Maybe you should join a Windows forum ... :)

Rude much? Who stole your cookie?

Sorry, it probably came off more rude than I meant it to. Still, the OS bashing was uncalled for in my opinion, especially since there are easy solutions just a Google search away. Those types of comments get under my skin for some reason. I would be more than happy to help if people are having similar issues.

Anyhow, back on topic!
