IOS7 - Sky broadband speed

I have just downloaded IOS7 on my IPad2. Since completing this I have checked my download speed and it has dropped
from 15Mb to less than 4Mb. Can anyone explain why please? The download to my Sky hub is 21Mb.

Alternatively is this a problem with the broadband speed checkers not running properly on IOS7?
