I really don't see the dev team charging for this, but it'll be an interesting turn of events if they decide to

Charging for it would be stupid. It would be on bittorrent/rapidshare in seconds. On the other hand, some incentive might be the only way to get things done.

Maybe untethered will cost something and not the tethered or something like that!

i mean, how would it even work if they were to charge it? people are just gonna copy and share/pirate it too, i would be best for them to release it humbly for free, they people would be glad to donate and possibly make him even more money

They really making fun with us. No jailbreak should cost. If they want money they would be more greed than apple itself. If i were them i would release it for free, but before that grant a certain percentage from every sell from cidia. Thus i would have not only donations, but also more people would be using cidia and thus gaining money. Now people like me are neither having a jailbreak nor being able to buy apps from cidia, cos these apps are the one that deserve to be paid.
