No one knows what that he really has it or not...i have a feeling that he did this (does not have a jb or ipad2) to remove himself from the whole "pay for jb" controversy and also to stop people asking him questions...i think he has a work in progress with him

From the very beginning patience was stressed and I still can't stress it enough...

i0nic did what he did, whether it's a power issue or whatever the fact remains he CAN develop a jailbreak and we CANT so why we hating?

If i was him, and i was getting pounded with messages everyday (some of which are very offensive), I'd do much worse then what he has done, I'd actually wait till I develop the jailbreak prove to everyone that it is working on MY iPad 2 then never release it publicly!

Give the guy a break, and give him some space to Free our iPads!

These jb'ers love the attention, as much as they say they want people to stop bugging them, they enjoy leading us on. If they dont want people to bug them about the jb, stop friggin tweeting about it. Tweeting is the most open form of social networking, anyone can see what they post. If these guys really didnt want us to be following them like a lost puppy then they should stop tweeting about this altogether, how abou using email to talk to eachother, maybe facebook?, maybe just talk in their Irc channel? But no no they have to tweet so they can keep everyone thqt is following them on the edge of their seats.

Comex jb his ipad a few days after it was released, he said he was going to releSe it soon.... Then turns Round and says "he got bored with the i0s and wasnt working on it nemore"

Then ionic starts tweeting about "elevator" and "rain" in such a way that it makes it look like elevator is codename for the jb. Then turns around and says "im just talking about the elevator n my bouse" like gi e meeee a breakkk


Sooo basically i feel these people are being a bunch of douche bags. You would think these kids are 16 years old or something the way they act. Im not tryng to seem ungratefull that people are working on a jb but i mean theae kids are friggin annoying. If they wants us to stop bugging them then stop leading us on. Just stfu about everything until u are rdy to release the jb......nooooo neeed to be tweeting all this BS

Really? If I understand you right, you need to know your jailbreak history a little better.
Geohot was forced to stop using twitter in part because of the jailbreaking hysteria during the last turn of this wheel. He took torrents of abuse in exactly the same way and eventually just left twitter behind because jailbreakers made it unusable for him.
Are you really saying now, "he is the best of em all" because he is not on twitter? Incredible. There was a time not so long ago where he was THE most hated member of the scene according to folks like those participating in this thread (for no good reason IMHO). He's been a hero and a zero more times than I can remember.

Like lots of people in the know have already said...
Have patience. Watch the blogs and forums. And when there's a release it will be news everywhere, not just on some no-name blog or youtube video.

Nobody is forcing you to follow the devs on twitter. If you don't want to know what they had for dinner or whether the elevator in their apartment building is broken, just don't follow them... It's 140 characters of less for a reason. They aren't supposed to nor are they obliged to explain infinite detail of every word or phrase tweeted, but it didn't take a genius to work out that "elevator" was nothing to do with the iPad2 from the very first moment...

That's my rant for the day. I feel better now.

I do agree with you though.

I do not understand why people are complaning. We buy an Ipad, because it is an Ipad. Then some start to complain, because there is no JB. They bash the developpers as to why they do not speed up things, etc, etc. Hey, wake up. They provide a service FOC. You don't have to pay for all the extras a JB might give you. They spend their free time to serve us all without getting anything in return. Just let them be. If they decide to talk about ELEVATORS or STAIRS it is their choice and they have every right to do so. If people continue to harash them this way, then maybe they will just decide to not do anything at all.

Let them be. A JB will come. Maybe not in the next few days or weeks, but it will come. Just sit down relax and be happy.
