The latest rumor from a source super high up in the JB hierarchy (a 2nd Lieutenant, first class, I think), is that soon, probably before the next full moon, there will most definitely, probably, should be, a new, updated rumor, pre released to the public in the near future, lord willing and the creek don't rise... but you didn't hear it from me... ;-)

These devs are starting to get overridden with people harassing them about the status of the iPad2 JB.

I said a couple of weeks 4 days ago, and people are already harassing me. FML

We are becoming our own worst enemy. Please, leave the JB devs do what they do best. Unmolested. The more they get harassed, the longer it will take. What don't people understand about this? I want it just as much as the next person, but I have two options.

1) Wait.
2) Learn to JB myself.

2 is not a realistic option for 99.999% of us, so we must use option 1.

It's not like people are hunting them down at the grocery store. They don't *have* to respond to every tweet...not saying "harass them ad nauseam," but i'm just sayin'...

Fully agree. These people have a job and a life, and make an effort to find the time needed to come up with a jailbreak. Just leave them in peace guys.

It's been 2 months guys, 2 months! If it was 2 years then yeah we'd have a right to moan, but come on!

I waited patiently for a jailbreak for my 1st iPad for around 2 months, ever since I got my iPad 2 I've set September as the time to expect a jailbreak, so until that's been an gone (like rapture) I'm not panicking!

I'm not good at English but as far as I understand - bile is not denying that p0sixninja is working on iPad2 JB. Right? But I don't see much hope in his blogpost. Seems that he doesn't believe p0sixninja can JB the iPad2 and just says that he (and team) will support p0sixninja. Right?

Seems that bile regrets that p0sixninja opened his mouth (about JB rollout "in weeks") during the talkshow.

I believe that the iPad 2 jailbreak is totally possible, it's just a matter of time...
Yes p0sixninja had been open about his work on the iPad 2 JB, it's a fact that he is working on it. But recently according to his tweets it seems that he doesnt have the motivation to keep going/he is slacking off since geohot backed out on the challenge.

Bile mentioned that: "I’m not going to get into extensive detail about this, but what I will way one of the missing puzzle pieces may have reared its head and cast a glance in our direction… take from that what you will."

I'm ASSUMING that it means there is still process going on, and it's just a matter of time. "weeks" doesn't mean much, 8 weeks is still "weeks", but also months, we just gotta wait.

Not really, he states:

NOTE: WE will hold him to that, please do NOT badger him with “is it done yet, when will it be ready?!?!, does it wear a slipcover from an elevator sandwich?”

Meaning that they will hold him to his statementnthat a JB will come out in weeks. He also says to leave the guy alone.
