i am using gravtar, i didnt notice that 1) it was possible to just use gravatar here, and 2 avatars were handled separately, oops! sorry to sidetrack the thread, all fixed now

okay this really is my last post before i get back to work, i overlooked this one when trying to figure out my avatar. i don't think you have to worry about anyone from c-dev defecting. im certainly not going to let some bad eggs push me away from what i love to do
However, i could see i0n1c getting fed up, i think his elevator explosion was an example of what too many people bugging and pushing his buttons will cause for him to do. It would be an incredible loss to see him go, his untether exploit for earlier iDevices is incredibly complex and epic, even comex was blown away by its complexity (thats not easy to do!!)

redsn0w, PwnageTool and xpwn are all dev-team work (xpwn might have a little bit of overlap between the two, i think planetbeing did the primary work on that- but i feel like some cdev members contributed to it too for some reason)
greenpois0n is majority chronic-dev work, with some help from associates that help both teams but aren't a direct member of any of them (ie comex, i0n1c- whos work is obviously utilized by both teams)
sn0wbreeze is done by ih8sn0w, whom isn't directly a member of either team. im not sure what all of his work entails (with sn0wbreeze internals) because im strictly a mac developer. he has also helped test and given various contributions towards greenpois0n as well.

Everything is all good; after I saw bile's post I re-read mine and realized it could have come off the wrong way and apologized... sometimes being sarcastic is not the way to go
It would be a shame to see i0n1c or anyone else leave the scene due to some ungrateful people but after seeing some of the stuff on twitter and other forums I couldn't blame them. Some people just seem to act like the real Rapture will actually happen if a JB doesn't come out soon.

Well it sounds like Chronic-Dev team is gonna release a Greenpois0n update soon for 4.3.x but it doesn't sound like it will be for the iPad2 yet.... Let's hope they're gonna surprise us!
iPad 2 has always been their top priority, no need to worry or hope for a surprise

I don't know why they would. There is already redsnow.
well, redsn0w requires you to download the firmware and select different options. most people like greenpois0n because of its simplicity. Get it into DFU mode then click jailbreak and you're done!
