Yup I'm now 2 foot tall! I thought you knew that!. I was also top heavy as well so that didn't help with the balance and aerodynamics!

On my way to Bermondsey Street for a mandatory course, 3 1/2 hours of time wasting and get this, I have the honour of paying £200 out of my own pocket. You gotta love government strategy. Although I have been teaching for 19 years, I am now told that all of use need to be evaluated in order to continue in this endeavour. Teaching is also mandatory in my job. Great catch-22 situation.

Still, thankfully it's much cooler today. Ok, there is a slight drizzle, but that I don't mind.

It's a memory for life for them. Well done. You have a legacy now. I remember many of my teachers through their foibles.

I remember a trip to Thorpe Park with two coach loads of students and 8 teachers and we left at the end of the day. I was on the second bus and the first bus suddenly turned around and went back to Thorpe Park. It later transpired that they had left one of their teachers behind. I thought the empty space next to the other teachers would have given it away. I still tease the teacher who forgot one of our own now!
I have many trip stories! A trip last year - kids and 4 teachers went for a walk over Somerset hills and they came back to the bus without two of the teachers. It turns outs that they got left behind and there was a fork in the path and they took the wrong turning! We waited and finally they arrived,

And the parents haven't removed their kids from this "educational institution" yet!!!! Well serves them right I say.

Your health comes first Hayles. Make sure you feel well enough to return to work then take another 24 hours off before you actually return. That's my rule of thumb. 

I'm pleased to see you can reach the lead and charger for the iPad! 
