iPad 2 Users In The UK

Oh, I suppose so but it still sounds more exciting than living down here in the countryside! Life is the same every day! I'm back at work now and planning lessons for when the kids come back on Monday

Hey guys. You gotta love this ability that iPF have now allowed for avatar changes. I love that can be done from within the app. It is a little hard to keep up with you all. Hayles, I didn't know you owned a doggy.

You need to look me up in Post your Pet! I've got a liver and White spaniel, black and White spaniel cross collie, and the love of my life, my Pomeranian. Oh and 2 cats, a cockatiel, 30 ducks and chickens, 3 goldfish and two horses. Sigh! Now you know why we don't go on holiday much. Not many people would housesit all that!
I've been back at school, preparing for my students to arrive on Monday so I've been a tad busy lately. How are you my fellow Musketeer?

I follow that thread also. I remember a short while back myself and Gab talking about how you have your own little food chain going, but I did not know you owned a zoo.

On the topic of animals, just finished watching an excellent new American tv series, a rehash of Teen Wolf, excellent! Along the same lines as The Vampire Diaries and True Blood but more high school orientated. Excellent music along the same line as the Vampire Diaries also. Loved it.

No, I'm not. It's fascinating reading what you watch. I haven't seen half of them but I know I never will. You should explain what they are about. I never tire of reading what you say. Musketeers remember! I'm loving Dr Who. Poor Amy. What did you think of it last night? I thought Torchwood was a bit dragged out. I miss the different story every week.
Haven't seen Hawaii-5-0 yet. I loved Jack Lord in the old one. It it as good?

Dr. Who is great this season, I know you say poor Amy, but I think she must be back as the last episode in the Season goes back go the first ie. where the Doctor "dies", Amy & Rory were there, so who knows!

Torchwood did drag on, but I thought the storyline was great, it was created remember for the American audience.

Breaking Bad is amazing, poor chemistry teacher with lung cancer starts producing crystal meth to make enough money for family with the help of a low life kid (who is excellent), the story has evolved over the 4 seasons, but remains amazing.

Weeds, single suburbanite mother (recently deceased husband) starts selling weed to rich locals. Story really has evolved over 7 seasons, again it remains good.

Hawaii Five-0, based loosely around the original from a character perspective, ok to good. I could take it or leave it, but the scenery is fantastic.

Family Ties, a show which ran 1983-1987, only watching it as a homage to the great Michael J. Fox, who I loved dearly for all the great teen movies he produced in my youth. Great family based sitcom, (the White Cosby show one could say), my 7 year old daughter enjoys watching it with me, my wife says we are both "sad".

Burn Notice, about a spy who was "burned", like the A-Team, he is trying to make his way back into that CIA. Love it, great scenery again.

Oh I know Amy isn't going because she has signed on for next series as well as Matt Smith but I just felt sad for her. She loves Rory but the Doctor is also special to her. Torchwood was great, I enjoyed it but the americanisation was irritating but hey ho, we can't afford to produce it without their money.
Are you a Downton Abbey fan? I love the upstairs/downstairs interaction. It spanned from the sinking of Titanic to the outbreak of the first world war.

I watched The X-Factor last night and played with the iPad when it got boring.

I remember Family Ties and am also a fan of Michael. So sad to see him now. Such a vibrant chap. He's surviving though. I loved The Cosby Show as well. Bill Cosby is a natural.

I did catch a few minutes at the end yesterday. It looked good. (There was a soldier holding up a lighter trying to get out of the trenches). I may try to to a marathon catch up.

Snap!

I too would prefe to see it (on DVD) without all those ads.

Just finished watching the True Blood finale. I am glad this season is over. It was overall in my opinion really poor. Don't get me wrong, it had some moments of brilliance, pity they did not last. Some shows should end whilst they are at the top, it retains a fond memory in ones mind, surely that keeps the writers in demand. Anyway, hope the next season is better.

The Vampire Diaries has restarted. Will watch that later and report back at some point.

Haven't seen it yet, Cool but I'm sorry to hear that. Daughter is watching it so she will tell me if it's bad too. I haven't finished Vampire Diaries yet either. I am so behind but if that means I get to watch marathon stretches, oh well! I'm getting like you, Cool! Didn't watch Downton in the end as the ads put me off so will watch when there are none.
