can someone post up a real copy of absinthe 2.0? everytime i try to install the program it extracts a million rocky files but then it closes. i cant even get the program to run.

never mind. tried a diff computer like others have tried and wammo. jailbroken no problems and i did not reset either.


edit lol negative. no cydia to be found. going to try this one more time lol.

now absinthe is telling me my device is not supported? i thought 3,3 was? mine is a verizon 4g setup which is 3,3 but its saying not supported.

holy cow what a rollercoaster lol. had to delete and reinstall absinthe a 3 time and its actually in the process of the jailbreak now. hopefully this goes well this time.

well boys and girls 3 time went fine. cydia is now here and all is working. had to reinstall absinthe a couple of times but it works. very very happy. thanks to all the devs for all the hard work and getting this done so fast.

I finally got it working!
1. Download Absithe package
2. Right click - run as admin, this will extract the files in a new folder called absinthe-win-2.0
3. restore the ipad to factory from within Itunes and let it complete (takes a few minutes)
4. Dont touch the ipad, right click and run the absinthe.exe in the new folder
5. Jailbreak

I was wondering if anyone has been having similar issues as me. Im following the instructions to a T and it hangs long on "waiting for process to complete" then fails... this is on a HP laptop win7 x64 and a Hackintosh

What about people that are having problems with Absinthe that are trying it on Mac...? I've ran it about 4 times now to no avail...so confused.

Try a DFU restore shut off av and firewall then run absinthe it worked on my iPad2 after doing this
