November 18, 1863; Abraham Lincoln travels by train to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where on the following day, he would give a short speech to dedicate a cemetery for the soldiers who died in the fighting there.
 
November 18, 1928...Mickey Mouse made his first appearance with sound in the film, "Steamboat Willie."

November 20, 1947, Princess Elizabeth marries Phillip Mountbatten at Westminster Abbey. Today is their 65th wedding anniversary.
