Post your Pet

That reminded me...here's the funniest dog tease video ever...(for the 6 people on earth that haven't seen it). ;)

Ahhh...Corgis. They are such great dogs. We had two and they were the best. Although it was like someone was paying them to shed. (Our golden doodles don't shed so we don't miss that!) Super dogs the Corgis though...

Ahhh, the shedding. Corgis definitely force you to invest in a good vacuum cleaner. They each shed enough to create an additional dog. No one should own a corgi unless they realize they'll have to deal with the shedding, their stubborn, bossy personalities and the unrelenting herding of everything--children, other dogs, people. But I love every one I've had over the past 20 years.

Our babies are being lazy today...think I should put them on the treadmill? :D

Sazoo my African Grey taking a regular bath (;
Very cool. I had a Green-cheeked Amazon once. Talked up a storm...although the Grey is king of the talkers. He could string completely logical sentences together. They are so much fun. Folks that have never owned one don't get the amazing way they can relate to humans. "Bird brain" is such a misnomer.

Enjoy!

Thanks guys.. African Greys don't normally like water, mine loves a regular bath. A wealth of entertainment but do be careful what you do & say around them as they will copy pretty much everything (;

Talking birds bring back some OLD memories - my maternal grandparents had a Myna bird (like the one in the pic below) - this goes back 50 yrs or so for me - WOW!

My grandfather ran a 'tavern' (basically a bar, I guess) in Toledo, Ohio and kept this bird there for a number of years and then brought it home after he retired and sold the place; well, you can imagine the language this bird picked up from the drinking patrons of the place - my grandmother played cards w/ her 'refined' friends and I loved to be there (as a teen!) when that bird just started quoting lines from jokes and cussing like a drunken sailor! Tickles me thinking about it even now! :)

My friend had a myna bird. As we babbled on talking to the bird, it would respond, "birds can't talk". :-)
