Ha ha. I knew it. No, I try not to be washed as I'm allergic to the protein in their saliva. They just have to wipe their heads under my chin and it begins to itch like crazy. I take antihistamines every day to counter my allergies to them! Yes, I know, I'm mad but I love my pets.

I'm exactly the same way! The great thing is our golden doodles are more or less hypo-allergenic (and they don't shed...woo hoo!) Abby has more poodle in her and can give me kisses all day long...not an itch. Joey on the other paw has more golden retriever in his DNA so his "kisses" can cause me to start scratching...but I take it like a man. HA!
