No! Hee Hee! I haven't gone quite that far yet! Black reins for me. He's wearing his dark green velvet saddle cloth in that photo. We were standing outside our local church for a breather and the perfect shot for my little girl. That's me on Shamrock.

Thank you mollysmum! Had a very nice sit down on Brandy, we did some Olympic work & we missed all but a few drips of the rain:-)

Now have to get these Johdyphuerhs off again...

No, Hayles, NOT easy for some! But well worth gritting my teeth at the Writhing Trauma for the Purple Pleasure reins of riding.

I'm looking at these...& girding my loins, so to speak:-) Now, focus....
(Oh, please turn the video off for a bit!)

You'll have to train the dogs to help you out with those. They can hold with their paws and pull. Or help ungird those loins. Lol

Choking at the very thought:-):-):-). Love that "ungird"! (thanks! It's now added to my snazzy words-to-use list)
How long would those J--thingies--you know:-) last?

And probably NOT a good idea to let IWs know they can pull harder than you can... like horses:-)
But I earnestly and sincerely thank you for your truly helpful suggestion:-):-):-)

We don't have any domestic pets, however we do enjoy quite a variety of wildlife in and around our urban garden.

I am sharing some wildlife photos with you. Perhaps others can post wildlife images which they have taken on this thread. I don't think the topic warrants a separate thread.

Firstly, a line of trees has been pollarded in neighbouring gardens. In one garden, a large bird feeder has been fixed on top of a large reduced tree stump.

Talking about birds, these magpies love to peck holes out of our lawns. A year or two ago, I witnessed a Jay fighting off 3 magpies in our back garden. The Jay was encircled, and did very well in standing his ground.

This guy has been a real nuisance digging holes and leaving wet smelly parcels about the place. My fences, wires etc are working in keeping foxes out. Note the trampoline edge. This trampoline was erected a year ago, and had been hardly used by the family. Hold on wait a mo.....

My wife called me to see 3 fox cubs playing here. It was great to watch. As soon as I pushed the window open to snap them, they were watching. I was very quiet about my business, but not stealthy enough, Hayles :D

I got this quick photo of a butterfly. As soon as I moved to take a better shot, it was off :(

So, there you go. Things from a different perspective. Our visitors, rather than pets.
